To Our Community,
We are incredibly grateful to this community for allowing us to be a part of your mental and physical health by providing the correct tools to engage in the activities you love. For nearly 45 years, our connection to our customers, our community, has been of the utmost importance.
When COVID hit, during the first few months, we weren’t sure what the future held for the store. But once new ways of working were established and the pleasure of being outside was reinstated, something amazing happened.
Everyone turned to outdoor activities for exercise, for coping with stress and for social togetherness. Tennis, running, walking and pickleball all grew in popularity! We are elated to be able to provide the gear and service to support these activities.
However, Rackets & Runners is not immune to the high levels of pandemic-fueled exhaustion that we know many people and businesses are facing.
This is why we have made the decision to close the store on Mondays. The Monday closure will start on November 14.
While this decision comes with difficulty, it is in alignment with one of our company’s core values which is taking care of our staff whilst ensuring that our customers, who have become friends and family, always receive exceptionally high standards of service. Giving our hard-working team a set day of rest will enable more balance to their well-being and it will ensure we continue to put our best foot forward…in the latest and greatest shoe of course!
As always, our website will remain open 24/7. As well, most local orders placed on Monday can be delivered to you on Tuesday.
