.I wrote a previous review stating not a game changer, once the pulse V is broken in and you can definitely hear the dull thud on the centre of the Paddle then the Paddle changes where it holds the ball in the sweet pocket. I have a back hand, serve where I can rattle off 6 to 7 points in a row. You can shape the ball with a noticeable arc of almost 3 to 4 feet going over the net. The Paddle has also gets more control and I haven’t hit anything out of the baseline. I have played with the Apollo, Volair M2 and Ronbus FX 2 but the pulse V2 is my go to paddle.

So far I have only logged 12 hours with this paddle. I have several wide body paddles such as the Volair M2, Appolo and the Ronbus Fx 2. There is hippe that the paddle developes more power when broken in, so far this has not happen. The Apes V2 has good spin but is not as powerful as the Fx 2 which is more head heavy, Right now I still prefer the Fx 2. Both paddles have the same amount of spin and dwell time even thou the V2 has a rougher surface. The wrap on the V2 is cheap and I always replace the wraps on my paddles so I have a good comparison. I am real enjoying the pulse v paddle . My control game is much better now, and the paddle has a good amount of power when you need it. I am looking forward to playing with the paddle when it fully breaks in
