COVID-19: Our Response
March 27, 2020
To Our Valued Community,
The health and wellness of our community is of paramount importance. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe during this unprecedented time. At Rackets & Runners, we are actively assessing and making operating decisions based on real-time information and guidance from government and health authorities.
At this time, Rackets & Runners remains open for business with the following adjustments to standard operations:
Adjusted Hours of Operation
Monday through Sunday: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Cleaning & Sanitizing
We have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures involving the disinfection of common surfaces, including: fitting benches, payment keypads, door handles, and countertops. Team members undertake frequent hand-washing.
For all customer interactions, staff are practicing social distance of 6 feet. For shoe fits, customers are required to tie their own shoes during the fitting process. Management exceptions are being made to assist customers who are physically unable to tie their shoes.
Demo Rackets & Paddles
The Demo Program for rackets and paddles is suspended until further notice.
We continue to accept cash payments, but would prefer that customers use debit or credit cards whenever possible.
Store Events/Run Club
To limit larger gatherings of people, all run club, clinics, and in-store events are postponed until further notice. We encourage participants to continue to stay active in smaller groups outdoors by walking, running, hiking, or their court sport of choice.
Alternatives to In-Store Shopping
- Curbside Pick Up
- Phone and Email Orders
- Free delivery for purchases over $100
